A charming old Victorian family property which has been lovingly refurbished to accommodate guests hoping to enjoy this special region of the United Kingdom with all the style and charm for which it has become known.

Close to Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere, it is an ideal base for anyone hoping to partake in the many leisure activities that the lake provides. A lake which is well known to have inspired William Wordsworth, a key figure in the Romantic Movement which owes much to the beauty of the Lake District. Both the villages of Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere offer a host of charming shops and pleasing eateries.

Yana and Ian Miall take pride in providing the warmth of a family run establishment and have taken great care to make sure that every room is tastefully furnished in a manner which embodies the traditions of comfort and style of Windermere's romantic past. Holly-Wood Guest House has 6 en-suite rooms including 3 double rooms, a single, a twin and a family-sized room which will accommodate 3 people.

Each room comes with a shower, television, radio alarm clock, hairdryer and a bountiful hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. All rooms are strictly non-smoking and pets are not permitted.

Breakfast is served in the luxurious dining room from 8.30 to 9.30am in Holly-Wood Guest House. A choice of either a nourishing traditional breakfast or a vegetarian alternative is available. For early risers, an earlier breakfast can organized as long as sufficient notice is given.

The single room rate is from £37 to £45 pounds per night. All other rooms are priced from £32.50 to £40 per night per person sharing, except for children under 16 for who a £20 rate applies when occupying the family room with 2 adults. Rates exclude Bank Holidays and are there is a minimum 2 night stay on Fridays and Saturdays. Please note that only children over the age of 10 years old are accepted.

For Bank Holiday Weekends there is minimum 3 night stay. Special Offers are available for longer stays, at certain times of year. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required for all bookings.
