| Lacet House is a delightful, 4-star bed and breakfast establishment located in the picturesque Ambleside, known as the jewel in the Lakeland's crown. It is ideally situated for guests to explore the beautiful village, with its many shops, bars, and excellent restaurants. A short walk from the centre of the village, leads you to Stock Ghyll Force, a spectacular 70 foot waterfall, amongst a carpet of Daffodils in the spring. Waterhead Bay is just a ten minute stroll away, where you can take a cruise, or just watch the world go by.

Lacet House's perfect location makes it easy for exploring not only Ambleside, but also other stunning scenic areas within the National Park.

Guests are able to choose from an excellent variety of rooms, five in total. There are three double rooms on offer and two family/group rooms, one of which is able to comfortably accommodate up to five people. Four of the rooms are en-suite, with the other having its own private bathroom. One of the bedrooms has the added sought after luxury of a four poster bed. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, decorated to an exceedingly high standard, and offer a variety of breathtaking views, including the surrounding fells, the park with its fine, imposing church; or across Ambleside's rooftops, leading the eye to the summit of Wansfell Pike.

All rooms have central heating, and are fitted with colour televisions, hairdryers, alarm clocks and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9.15am in their traditionally decorated dining area. A delicious full English breakfast is offered, as well as a large selection of alternatives and vegetarian options. View the tempting breakfast menu.

Prices range from £28 - £37 per adult per night, including breakfast. Children's prices are grouped according to age with ages 5 - 10 up to £10, 11 - 14 year olds charged up to £14, and 15yrs - 18yrs being charged up to £18 per night. Discounts can be made for group bookings and vary depending on numbers. Sorry, no pets.
