| Furnished and decorated to an impressively high standard, Oakthwaite is primarily a private residence which now offers two decadent bedrooms for guests use. The first room is a double en suite room which enjoys lovely views out over the houses scenic gardens. The second room is a large room which can either be made up as a double or a twin room depending on your preference. This room has access to the private house bathroom which is the perfect place to relax after a day walking in the Lake District National Park; complete with roll top bath and large shower you can truly unwind after a busy day. Both rooms are well equipped with hairdryers, flat screen television with full access to sky television including movies and soft fluffy bathrobes and towels in the bathrooms. There is also a DVD library for guests to use during their stay. |
| Oakthwaite has a warm and inviting residents lounge complete with open fire, a large concert sized grand piano, tea and coffee making facilities and a large flat screen television alongside large and comfortable sofa and chairs; enjoying fantastic views out over the pretty surrounds, this is a great place to sit and relax in the evening. Warmer evenings allow you to utilise the garden area. |
