Open all year round, this charming bed and breakfast has a lounge bar where you can relax and enjoy your favourite tipple. Dinner is available every night in the Glenburn restaurant complimented by excellent wines from around the world.

The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with a keen eye for detail and the little extra touches that make a comfortable stay. Naturally for a hotel of this quality and standing, all of the rooms are en-suite, including rain showers and Jacuzzi style baths. Each one has satellite TV, a complimentary selection of hot beverages, and a hairdryer.

There are four types of room to choose from, Standard, Superior and Deluxe rooms with eight rooms on each floor. We have two family rooms.

Comfort is of the highest priority, and the soft furnishings and relaxing decor make for a delightful home from home atmosphere, and a relaxed environment.

In close proximity to The Genburn Hotel there are two deluxe self-catering cottages: River Cottage, which is situated in the grounds of the hotel, and can accommodate up to six guests.

Gamekeepers Cottage is located in the very centre of Windermere also accommodating six guests and one small dog.

Guests of the Glenburn Hotel and River Cottage will receive complimentary use of Parklands Leisure Club in Bowness, for the duration of their stay.

This pass gives access to all the facilities of the leisure centre including the gym, swimming pool, spa, sauna, fitness studio, badminton court, squash court, children's area, club lounge and bar, solarium, gym, and table tennis.
