The Royal Oak Inn is situated in the Southern Lake District between Ulverston and Coniston. The location makes it an ideal base from which to explore the beauty of the Lake District itself to the north and Carlisle and Cumbria to the south. This countryside location is ideal for hillwalkers, hikers, climbers and cyclists. Royal Oak is a fully licenced public house and restaurant dating from the Seventeenth century and is steeped in history. It has exposed stone walls, exposed oak beams, real open fires and character associated with a property of this age.
Accommodation comprises three bedrooms: one a four poster bedroom, and two doubles with singles suitable for families with children. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and come with ensuite facilities, television and a complementary tea and coffee tray.

The Royal Oak is also a great spot to dine, serving Breakfast (complementary) as well as Lunch and Evening meals 7 days a week. As a licenced premises there is no shortage of beverages on offer. The pub has a pool table and runs various competitions including a weekly pool night on Mondays and a quiz night every alternate Sunday.
