High Gregg Hall Farm
If there is one thing above all which attracts people to the Lake District it is that calm pastoral beauty which has proven to be the inspiration for generations of poets, artist and everyone else who appreciates such simple pleasures in life.

At the edge of the Lyth Valley, just 5 miles from Bowness and Windermere, is a bed and breakfast which manages to combine all the great scenic views from the vantage point of a wonderfully quiet setting, with all the sights and sounds of a working farm. The Lodge at High Gregg Hall offers a unique insight into life at the lakes and a lot more besides for any Lake District holiday.

Accommodation at the Lodge is offered within two double bedrooms, one with views out through the apple trees onto the Lyth Valley and the other looking out over the front of the property and the gardens opposite. They share a private bathroom and both rooms come equipped with TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

Tariff is from £60.00 per room per night, based on 2 people sharing and £36.00 per night for single occupancy. Special midweek deals are available for two and three night stays. Prices include a full English breakfast as the perfect start to any new Lake District adventure.

Pets are welcome at the lodge by prior arrangement and there are stables on site too for those who wish to bring their horses. With Bowness in one direction and the town of Kendal in the other, opportunities for heading out in the evening are plentiful and closer to home there are numerous country pubs, the closest just half a mile away, where meals can be enjoyed and good times had with a drink besides the open fire.
